- Tigerflo SMP Series Mud Pumps are designed for high-flow, high-head applications.
Available in 6 models (3” to 10”), covering flow rates up to 851 m³/hr and heads up to 97 meters. - Fitted with a single tungsten carbide mechanical seal system, providing excellent resistance to highly abrasive fluids.
- Handles thick, abrasive drilling mud and slurry fluids reliably, even under extreme climate conditions.
- External impeller clearance adjustment extends pump life while maintaining performance.
- Tigerflo 250 SMP Series Centrifugal Pumps feature a proven design with wide open-tipped vane impellers, increased re-circulation area, and a concentric casing for smoother flow when handling abrasive mud and heavy fluids.
- Available with fluid ends in hard iron, stainless steel, or aluminum bronze. Pumps can be driven by electric motors, diesel engines, or hydraulic motors in horizontal, vertical, or close-coupled configurations.
- Pump construction includes:
- a) Thick, heavy-duty concentric casing with a replaceable wear pad
- b) Heavy-duty shaft with replaceable shaft sleeve to prevent wear
- c) Wide semi-open impeller design reduces solids concentration and extends the life of mechanical seal, packing, stuffing box, and bearings
- d) High-quality single-row bearings for extended service life (grease or oil lubrication options)
- e) Long-life mechanical seal
- f) Optional replaceable stuffing-box cover for single or double mechanical seal applications
- g) Solid base bearing shaft housing for maximum strength and rigidity
